Manchester United beat Saint-Etienne 1-0 at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard to progress to the last 16 of the Europa League 4-0 on aggregate. A very controlled performance from Jose Mourinho's side, despite playing with 10 men for 27 minutes following Eric Bailly's red card.

Young does well to track back with Monnet-Paquet and concedes corner. Romero then parries Jorginho's effort from the edge of the area.

Still the Saint Etienne fans sing, even though their club is about to go out of the Europa League 4-0 on aggregate.

Rashford gets his legs in a tangle from Young's angled cross from the right flank. Young has played well tonight.

Pajot is very late on Smalling, who grimaces and looks at referee Aytekin following the challenge.

Schweinsteiger apologies for shooting when Ibrahimovic had made the run to the far post.

Pajot fouls Rashford down the left, and Malcuit gets a yellow card for his dissent for the decision.

Pajot sees a tired effort from the edge of the area sail wide of Romero's goal.

Perrin clears Zlatan's low cross from the left with Pogba waiting.

Zlatan is furious that he is alllowed to run 30 yards by the linesman onto Pogba's pass before being called offside. To make things worse, the TV replay shows the Swede was onside!

Theophile-Catherine does well to block Zlatan on the edge of the box from Fellaini's pass down the channel.

Pogba clips the ball over the top for Zlatan, who drags his shot from the right channel just wide.

The home side win the free-kick for Pogba's push on Perrin from Young's corner.

Schweinsteiger sets up Rashford down the left, but the youngster is unable to control. From the second ball, he forces a Ruffier save with a low shot from Blind's pass.

Malcuit takes no chances at the back post to concede another corner from Pogba's header from Young's free-kick.

Florentin Pogba gives away a cheap corner with a mistimed header back to Ruffier.

Hamouma is caught by Fellaini in midfield, Monnet-Paquet wins a corner down the left off Smalling.
