Yahaya is booked for a late tackle on Mulgrew.

Celtic are controlling possession at the moment and the visitors are looking nervous early on. They can't keep a hold of the ball, allowing the home side to press further up the pitch.
5'
The set piece is delivered to the back post where Mulgrew is situated with acres of space but he gets under the ball and his header is well, well over the bar. Disappointing.

In other Europa League action, Lille and Everton has finished scoreless. 10 minutes to kick-off in this one and let's hope we see goals!

Protasov: "I was a player and I know if you play a strong team you always play better and try to show everyone you are a strong player. Usually players make one step further in these situations. We have prepared well. I've only came to this team and we've played one match and had less than 10 training sessions."

STAT: This will be Celtic's 299th Uefa club competition game (they have won 141 of 298). The return meeting in Romania will be their 300th (Telegraph).

However, the Romanian’s are not in good form. Astra have won just once in their last seven games, losing four, and sit fourth in the league, eight points behind leaders Steaua. Coach Daniel Isaila was axed recently with former Soviet Union international Oleg Protasov taking the reigns.

If Celtic fans think they’re in for an easy evening, think again. FC Astra were runners-up to Steaua Bucharest in the league last season, their highest finish, and denied the champions a double by beating them on penalties to win the Romanian Cup for the first time. They knocked out French side Lyon in the play-offs of this year’s Europa League to make the group stages. Vroom vroom.
19.25
Deila: “It’s an important match (against FC Astra). If we can win it can put is in a good position. If we can win the two games against them then it’s fantastic but they are a very good team. The Europa League is a high level and they haven’t started as well as they wanted but we know what Astra are capable of doing. If they were playing in the Scottish League they would up near the top and that’s the level we’re going to meet. However, I know that if we're at our best then we have a good chance to win.”

19.15
Emilio Izaguirre starts at the back for Celtic despite sustaining an injury at the weekend but there’s no such fortune for Bolton target Kris Commons who doesn’t even make the bench. Ronny Deila’s side are locked at the top of Group D with FC Salzburg with four points each. Tonight’s opponents, Romanian side FC Astra, are rock bottom and have not picked up a single point.
