Swedish ace Anders Limpar is the only player to have turned out for both clubs. He reckons Everton should have the upper hand: "Young Boys are a decent side but they’re not as good as Everton and I’d expect Martinez’s men to win over two legs as they should be too strong for them at Goodison."

Young Boys have historic ties with England and employed several English managers in their early years. One of them was the legendary Jimmy Hogan, the man crediting with revolutionising Hungarian football. Another ex-manager is Tord Grip, Sven-Göran Eriksson's assistant with England.

A quick reminder that January loan signing Aaron Lennon is ineligible for Everton, having already featured in the competition for Tottenham. The Toffees have Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu and English striker Courtney Duffus on the bench for extra firepower.

English-born Swiss International Scott Sutter is on the bench for Young Boys tonight. The right back, who hails from Enfield, is a Tottenham fan. He will no doubt be keeping an eye on Spurs' game against Fiorentina later this evening.
