Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has recalled Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez for their Europa League play-off second leg match with Hearts at Anfield.

Grainger manages to tackle Sterling in the area, and the ball drops to first Suarez and then Gerrard, but the Liverpool skipper is denied at the near post by MacDonald.

Henderson sets up Suarez with a pass down the middle, but MacDonald is bravely out to block and gets a knee in the face for his troubles.

Faced by two banks of four, Gerrard tries an optimistic curler from 25 yards that is well wide of MacDonald's goal.

Driver gets the ball in the Liverpool area, but his control is dreadful and Gerrard is able to close him down.

Liverpool break again through Gerrard and Sterling, but Kelly's eventual cross fails to beat the first defender.
