And that is it. Wales see out the game in the corner of the Cypriot half. Excellent stuff and a heroic display by Chris Coleman's men.

Bale turns Merkis beautifully before sprinting in-field and letting fly but his shot is blocked and they have the corner. Time being killed here.

Bale tries to run down the time but he is dispossessed. Just as Cyprus looks to break they play a poor pass wide and Wales get it back.

Gunter just waits for the contact as he was looking to shield the ball. As soon as he felt the contact on his back, he went down.Free kick given.

Bale with a lovely turn and quick feet to turn away from three players before just losing the ball on his final touch as he came into the penalty area. Glorious stuff.

Taylor crosses afte receiving it short from Cotterill. He whips it in but Edwards can only head over the cross bar.

Yellow card for Kyriacou as he upends Bale on the edge of the penalty area as he stormed in. Free kick given wide left for Wales.

And Cyprus take off Angeli for Papathanasiou.

Robson Kanu makes way for debutant Jake Taylor.

CHANCE! Christofi storms past three players and plays it wide to Kyriacou. His cross finds Efram but he heads over from close range.

Robson-Kanu picks the ball up on the edge of the area but is quite wide. He takes a tired shot and the ball goes out for a goal kick.

Poor cross from Kyriacou on the right and it floats out at the far post. No chance anybody was getting on the end of that.

Cyprus back on the attack with Laban pulling the strings in midfield. This time though Bale gets back to him and is able to get the ball back momentarily for Wales.

Bale pressure on the goalkeeper forces him to kick it striaght out of play. More time being eaten up by the Welsh.

Gunter wasting time as he allows the ball boys' throw to go right past him. The Cypriots aren't happy.

Angelis takes a nervous look over his shoulder and sees Bale bearing down on him and decides to play the ball out of play rather than bring it down from a lofted ball down the line.

Merkis gives away another foul as Robson-Kanu spins in behind him. He grabs hold of the Welshman and Wales have a free kick wide on the left. No rush to take it.

Cyprus back on the front foot with Christofi and Antoniades combining on the left but Edwards crowds out the Cyrpiots as he comes inside.
