England completed their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign with 10 wins out of 10 in Group E in meandering to a 3-0 win over Lithuania in Vilnius.
Roy Hodgson's side were never in any danger on a plastic pitch that was watered by the local fire brigade beforehand as goals from Ross Barkley, an own goal from goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis via a Harry Kane shot, and a third from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain completed a comfortable evening's work.

England made eight changes from the team that beat Estonia 2-0 at Wembley on Friday with Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, Gary Cahill, Michael Carrick and James Milner all left at home.
Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland made his first competitive start with Everton central defender Phil Jagielka wearing the captain's armband for the first time, but England were rarely tested by a poor and limited Lithuania team.
England visit Spain for a friendly match on November 13 in Alicante as they begin preparations in earnest for the 24-team finals in France which begins on June 10.

TALKING POINT: What did we learn from England's win?

We discovered that England have a decent crop of youngsters who were far too strong for a home side in disarray, and whose coach resigned moments after this match. The hard work really begins now for England after such a favourable group in qualifying enabled them to top the table with a 100 per cent record. But Roy Hodgson won't be fooled: these qualifiers will resemble nothing close to what England will face when they play their opening match in France.

KEY MOMENTS

28' GOAL! Stunning strike from Ross Barkley. 25 yards from the Kane lay-off, and the shot flies high into the net. A 1-0 lead for England.
35' GOAL! Kane plays a one-two with Lallana before racing onto the loose ball. Smashes the ball into the net. No chance for Arlauskis as the ball comes back off a post, hits his back and ends up in the goal.
62' GOAL! Oxlade-Chamberlain drives the ball high into the net with Arlauskis well beaten at his near post. A 3-0 lead now.

69' SAVE! Lithuania retreating to defend as Ings sees a shot from 20 yards stopped by Arlauskis in the home goal. Another fine stop.
