The winner of this clash will meet Spain in the semi final after La Roja edged out 10-man Switzerland on penalties.

Thorgan Hazard: "Italy will be the toughest opponent we've met so far. They've had a good run of wins and it will be a nice challenge for us to end that sequence. Their style may suit us more than Portugal. They are enterprising so we may be able to profit from the open spaces, but it definitely won't be any easier."

Giorgio Chiellini on Romelu Lukaku: "It will be difficult to face Lukaku; but I’m sure both me and him will sleep well tonight! We have a great  deal of respect for Lukaku because he had a great season at Inter and he became a dominant player. But it's almost an insult to only talk about Lukaku when you see how many quality players that Belgium have."

Analysis: Belgium are awash with talented players. However, in their last-16 clash with Portugal, Roberto Martinez’s side were naïve, writes Grace Robertson.

Roberto Martinez: "Italy will attack from the very first second; they will be very structured and dynamic. Every player knows his role. The game against Portugal was a game that could have been played a lot further down the line; usually players don't play these physical and intense games at this stage of the tournament."

Roberto Mancini: "We will have to see how the game evolves, we could change something during the game if things are not going as we have planned. I’m sure it will be a beautiful match with the team making one mistake less than the other probably winning it because I think it will be a really even game."

So, it's one change for Belgium. Eden Hazard is OUT (hamstring) and the Real Madrid forward's place is taken by Jeremy Doku. That means KDB has been passed fit despite worries over an ankle issue.

Italy make two from the win over Austria. Skipper Giorgio Chiellini returns from injury to replace Francesco Acerbi in defence. Federico Chiesa is rewarded for his goal off the bench versus the Austrians and comes in for Domenico Berardi.
