Russia - Wales live updates

Bale hammers another shot at goal, but it's straight at Akinfeev. Wales look most likely to score next.

Kokorin's shot is deflected for a corner on the right. Ramsey heads away.

Corner for Wales, but nothing comes from it.

A moment ago, Bale was very obviously clipped in the box, and nothing was given. Wales could be three up.

Here's the second goal for Wales.

Bale strides down the middle, 60 yards, and is clearly tripped on the edge of the box. It comes to Vokes, but his shot is saved.

Russia are enjoying more of the ball but that's probably because Wales now have a lead to sit on.

Dzyuba latches onto a long ball from Akinfeev, swings a leg, but Hennessey is able to divert it wide. Nothing from the corner - though Hennessey fumbled it.

Ramsey finds Gunter on the right. The cross is in to Vokes at the back post, but he heads into the ground.

Russia have a corner on the right wing. Swung in, and Hennessey claims under no pressure at all.

Ramsey strains to keep in a crossfield pass, but it goes over the touchline for a goal kick.

In the other match, England and Slovakia are drawing 0-0, so Wales have extended their advantage.

GOAL! Russia 0-2 Wales. Taylor scores - Bale waits and waits, and then lays the ball off through the defence, for Taylor on the left. His first shot is poor, nervous and straight at Akinfeev, but it comes back to him for another try, and he puts it past the flailing 'keeper.

Russia have a spell on the ball, now. Wales sit back and Ramsey clears, for the moment at least.
