England produced an extraordinary comeback from 5-1 behind to draw 5-5 with Germany in their Under-19 European Championship game in Bucharest.
England's youngsters looked to be heading towards a chastening defeat, but four goals in 11 minutes turned the match on its head midway through the second half to complete the highest-scoring match in the history of the tournament.
Manchester United's Ethan Wheatley, who made his Premier League debut in April 2024, tapped in following a corner to make it 5-2 after 52 minutes.
Three minutes later, England were right back in the game when Tottenham midfielder Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny fired into the net.
On the hour mark, it got even better for the Young Lions when Nottingham Forest's Zach Abbott headed home from a corner to make it 5-4.
And the amazing comeback was complete soon after when Crystal Palace teenager Jesse Derry - son of former Eagles captain Shaun - took advantage of goalkeeper Konstantin Heide spilling a cross to fire home.
