Thrashing Atletico Madrid 4-0 was not satisfying enough for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha, who insisted he was "sad" the newly crowned UEFA Champions League winners didnot score more. PSG got their Club World Cup campaign off to a flyer in scorching heat in Pasadena, as they demolished Diego Simeone's side. Vitinha was joined on the scoresheet by Fabian Ruiz, Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-in.

Paris Saint-Germain recorded a statement 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in their opening FIFA Club World Cup game on Sunday - but Vitinha insisted he was "sad" his side never scored more.
The French giants arrived in the US fresh off their historic UEFA Champions League win and carried on where they left off by demolishing Diego Simeone's side in front of over 80,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
First-half goals by Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha gave PSG a commanding lead at half-time before substitutes Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-in added late gloss to the scoreline.
Atletico had been reduced to 10 men in the final stages when Clement Lenglet was shown a second yellow card for dissent.
PSG, however, had plenty of opportunities to add to the scoreline in the scorching midday heat, with temperatures reaching 31°C. Goncalo Ramos, in particular, was guilty of lacking a ruthless edge in front of goal.
"A very good performance, actually, but as always I will talk about the team first," Vitinha told DAZN.
"We had a very good game. It was difficult with the [high] temperature. We did it against a tough team in Atletico, but we did very well. We managed to control all the game. Sad we couldn’t score more."
"The toughest thing to do in football is maintain [a high] level. It was a very good performance for the team, and a very good start for the competition."

Luis Enrique added: "We are happy. Even with this [high] temperature, we are happy. You have to manage that. It is difficult to play in these conditions.
"I think every single player showed their best quality to the team. As a coach, I am happy. Really great to feel that love [from the stadium]. We are happy and want to continue with our ways."
PSG will face Botafogo in their second Group B game in Pasadena on Friday, June 20, while Atletico take on Seattle Sounders in Seattle on Thursday, June 19.
