'We're not Real Madrid' - Levi Colwill insists Chelsea can beat Paris Saint-Germain in 2025 Club World Cup final

Chelsea will go into their Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain as underdogs, but defender Levi Colwill insisted there is a feeling of confidence in the squad. PSG, having won last season's UEFA Champions League, have been formidable en route to the final, thrashing Real Madrid in their semi-final. Colwill, though, said Chelsea will offer a different challenge.

Levi Colwill said Chelsea's players are confident they can beat European champions Paris Saint-Germain in Sunday's Club World Cup final.
Luis Enrique's PSG go into the final at the MetLife Stadium as favourites, having thrashed Real Madrid 4-0 in an emphatic semi-final victory.
But Colwill claimed Chelsea are "not Real Madrid", and will pose different challenges to a free-flowing PSG side.
"They are an amazing team – but we are not Inter or Real Madrid," the 22-year-old said.
"They were really good. But Real Madrid are very different to us. They don't press like us or play like us. [PSG] can't expect us to give them the same game. We're going to bring different things. We're different players.
"Most people around the world would expect PSG to win but we don't think that in this camp. I remember the first time in this tournament when I did media I said that we're winners - and we've made it this far.

"That shows I'm not lying. The players have got a really top mentality and we're really excited going into this final. It's where we belong to be.
"We're confident in ourselves to win the game."
PSG beat Bayern Munich in the quarter-final and have only conceded one goal in the tournament so far.
"You have to respect how they press, how they play but we're not going to change our whole way to play them," Colwill added. "We've got our plan, our identity which we're going to stick to through the gaffer and that's when we play our best football so let's stick to it.

Chelsea's route to the final has been less smooth than PSG's, with a narrow victory over Palmeiras in the quarter-final and a 2-0 win against Fluminense in the semi.
Enzo Maresca's side have only faced one European side - Benfica in the group stage - so far.
But Colwill outlined the club's intention to be the first winners of the revampled Club World Cup.
"To put yourself in the history books would be really good for the team and build confidence going into the future," he said.
