Hull City 1-0 Middlesbrough result - Oli McBurnie's added-time goal sends Tigers back to Premier League

Oli McBurnie is the hero who caps an outstanding promotion campaign from Hull City in the play-offs.

Hull dealt with the in-form Millwall over two legs in the semi-finals and did not concede a goal throughout.

Boro were oddly toothless, perhaps explained by their surprise inclusion after Southampton's expulsion.

No matter, Hull had a job to do. Chances were at a premium and when McBurnie had his, he did not let it go.

A hooked volley late on sealed victory and Boro face another summer when they have to take stock. Hull have to build for the Premier League.
