When you think of Inter, you may well imagine the blue and black stripes of their famous kit.
The colours are synonymous with the club, in contrast to the red and black of local rivals AC Milan.
Blue and black has featured every time The Nerazzurri have played in a UEFA Champions League final - until now.
Paris Saint-Germain are officially the home team in this weekend’s European showdown in Munich, so they will play in their traditional home strip. This consists of blue, white and red, which is deemed a colour clash with Inter’s blue and black.
The usual replacement in this situation would be Inter’s white away outfit, but the club have decided to go with their vibrant yellow third kit.

Why have Inter decided to play in yellow?

No official reason has been given for the decision. However, it has fuelled speculation that superstition played its part.
Inter boast a strong record in this season's Champions League. They’ve excelled defensively and their only defeat in this season’s European campaign came away at Bayer Leverkusen back in December - in their white away kit.
Their next fixture in the competition was also away, but they decided to bring out their third kit instead. Dressed in yellow, Inter won 1-0 at Sparta Prague in January. It was then also worn in their 2-0 victory over Feyenoord in the away leg of their last-16 tie.

The speculation around this alleged superstition prompted reporters to quiz midfielder Nocolo Barella on the kit decision for the final.
"We had a chat, there were a number of options on the table and we went for the yellow shirt," he said, smiling.
"Nothing more than that, it’s a shirt that we like and so we hope that this jersey can help us as well in this final."
Inter posted a statement on their official website two days before the final, referencing the fact they had chosen to play in yellow.
It read: "The tones that have represented the colour of the clubs’ third kit for many years are very much back for the 2024/25 season.
"During this year’s Champions League, The Nerazzurri have worn this kit in their away game against Sparta Prague on Matchday 7 of the Legaue Phase (0-1, Lautaro) and in our win against Feyenoord in Rotterdam in the first leg of the Round of 16 (0-2, Thuram, Lautaro)."

Inter are going for their fourth Champions League or European Cup title after previous success in 1964, 1965 and 2010.
Simone Inzaghi’s team recently reached the final in 2023, but were beaten by Pep Guardiola’s treble-winning Manchester City.
Their opponents this year, PSG, are being tipped as favourites. However, the French side have never won Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
