PSG 7-0 Brest as it happened - French champions humble compatriots to go through 10-0 on aggregate

Paris St-Germain became the first team to have seven different scorers in a Champions League match as they dumped out Brest 10-0 on aggregate, to set up a mouth-watering meeting in the next round against Barcelona or Liverpool.

Going into the Parc des Prince clash, the tie was not in doubt after Ousmane Dembele's double helped them to a 3-0 first-leg victory, but though the club's top scorer failed to find the net in the second leg, a glut of his team-mates did.

Bradley Barcola classily took Fabian Ruiz's long ball in his stride before scoring the opener after 20 minutes, and then Khvicha Kvaratskhelia slid home his first Champions League goal for the hosts six minutes before the break.

Vitinha's low curling effort just before the hour mark led Luis Enrique to start making substitution,s but there was no relief for Brest as after Nuno Mendes tapped home, substitutes Desire Doue, Goncalo Ramos and Senny Mayulu all hit the back of the net.

Life will surely get harder for PSG next up, as they wait on Friday's draw to see if they face the English or Spanish league leaders, but Enrique's side could not have asked for a bigger confidence boost to take into the last 16.

But Luis Enrique will be proud of the way his side kept up the pressure until the end with the substitutes showing they have the quality to produce in this tournament.

It would have been scant, but Pereira-Lage's effort was worthy of a goal. His curling strike from 25 yards out beating Donnarumma but landing on the roof of the net.

This time the Brest stopper makes a good save after Doue made room for himself in the box with nifty footwork and shot firmly towards the roof of the net, but the Brest keeper pushes the effort away.

Lovely intricate footwork in the box as Lee and Kvaratskhelia combine to set up Mayulu whose effort found the net despite keeper Coudert getting a firm left hand to his shot.

He has shown some quality tonight and was very unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.

They are still looking to add to the score. The benefit of bringing on hungry players with a point to prove.

But he was clearly offside when he was slid the ball behind the PSG defence, though he finished well, low and hard past Donnarumma.

Doue returns the favour. He is played through by Kvaratskhelia and slides the ball square to Ramos who just strokes the ball over the line.

Doumbla and Le Cardinal come off for Haidara and Faivre.

It's so easy now. Hakimi is fed by Lee behind the full-back and he has time to slide a square ball for Mendes to tap home at the far post.

The substitutes combine. Ramos was met by the keeper as he raced into the box and calmly pulled the ball back for Doue who comfortably stroked the ball into the roof of the net.

Barcola, Dembele and Ruiz get a rest. Lee, Ramos and Doue have a chance to shine.

Fernandes and Balde are replaced by Magnetti and Camara.

Ruiz teed up his fellow midfielder form the edge of the penalty area and he curled a low effort just inside the goalkeeper's left-hand post.

Chardonnet won a header from a corner but the Italian stopper sprawled across his line to push away.

He turned inside Ruiz and got his shot away before Marqinhos could challenge him, but though his effort beat Donnarumma it came back off the post.

He connected with it well but Donnarumma was always comfortable watching the ball fly wide.
