PSV v Arsenal live - UEFA Champions League latest as Gunners seek return to winning ways

Eddie Nketiah scored his first UEFA Champions League goal as a much-changed Arsenal drew 1-1 at PSV Eindhoven.

Nketiah's well-taken goal - firing into the bottom corner when picked out at the top of the box by Reiss Nelson - gave Arsenal a half-time lead, against the run of play.

PSV equalised within five minutes of the restart however, with Yorbe Vertessen curling in off the post to cap a crisp counter-attack. Like Nketiah before him, it was Vertessen's first goal in the competition.

Both teams hit the post - PSV twice, Arsenal once - while the Gunners also had a goal disallowed for offside in an open affair both sides had the opportunity to win.

Leondro Trossard almost did just that for Arsenal in the seventh minute of stoppage time, but shot straight at the goalkeeper after fooling his marker with a wicked feint.

There was nothing riding on the result, with Arsenal already assured of top spot in Group B and PSV knowing they would finish second. Both teams avoiding picking up any cards, although one worry for Arsenal is that Mohamed Elneny did leave the field with an apparent hamstring issue.

Martin Keown believes it was a satisfactory night for Arsenal. "I think one or two good performances, Nelsno particularly in midfield and Elneny." He goes on to add that the Gunners "can be really proud of their work in the Champions League so far".

Michael Owen calls it "an enjoyable game, especially for a dead rubber" with "two good teams on show".

FT: PSV 1-1 Arsenal. Both teams could have won it, but that's probably a fair result. Arsenal win the group and PSv finish second, but we already knew that.

That flurry of late changes has robbed booth teams of any momentum.

Arsenal have a free kick midway into the PSV half. The goalkeeper comes and is beaten to the ball by Kiwior, who heads in, but Gabriel was offside and certainly interfering with play. He blocked Benitiez from getting to the ball.

Mauro stabs a cross to the back post, where Tillman should meet it, but he never jumps. Tillman says Kiwior was fouling him, but the officials say no.

Relief for Kiwior, although the talented 18-year-old Babadi is on in his place.

Saibari departs.

The Belgian wins a free kick right on the edge of the box after being hacked down by Jorginho. He takes, but it's cleared at the back post.

The Pole comes inside and dispossesses Tillman, who was preparing to let fly.
