Victor Osimhen has long been a target for Manchester United, and Glenn Hoddle has urged the Napoli talisman to make the move to the Premier League after he scored his 20th goal of the campaign to help his side win 2-0 at Eintract Frankfurt in the Champions League. "It would be lovely to see him play every other week," said Hoddle, who was analysing his performance in the last-16 match.

Guardiola believes 'nothing will be enough' in pursuit of Champions League glory

Victor Osimhen has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and BT Sport pundit Glenn Hoddle admits he would love to see the Napoli talisman play in England.
Hoddle was lauding the striker after he netted his 20th goal of the season in Napoli’s 2-0 victory away to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League last-16 first leg tie.
The Nigeria international made the breakthrough five minutes before half-time, netting in his eighth consecutive start, before Giovanni Di Lorenzo ensured the Italian side left Germany with a comfortable win.
As well as impressing in Europe, Osimhen – reportedly a target for Manchester United – has helped Napoli establish a 15-point lead at the top of the Serie A table.
“It’s his desire to get on that goal sheet and to score another goal,” said Hoddle when analysing his performance on BT Sport.
“He’s got that pace to go in behind defenders.
“Every defender will tell you they hate it if you’ve got a player that just drifts on the shoulder of them and then from there, and he does it every time.
“But he’s also good at holding up play as well. He’s got everything at the moment.
“He is a top, top player and let’s hope he can continue, be injury-free and end up in the Premier League. It would be lovely to see him play every other week.”
Osimhen - who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract – recently told ESPN that Napoli will have the “final say” on his future.
“When you are doing so well, top clubs around the world are watching, mostly in the top five leagues," he said.

“And to be able to attract interest from these top clubs shows that I am doing great and it gives me the motivation to do even more for myself and my team.
"But I am focused on Napoli right now and they have the final say. I just want to help my team to win matches and win trophies.
“At the end of the season, we will see what is going to happen, but that is not up to me. It is for the club to decide."
