It was not a warm welcome back to the San Siro for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who was taunted with fake bank notes as he lined up against his former club in the UEFA Champions League. As the 24-year-old made his way into the goalmouth, Rossoneri supporters dropped the fake notes down the famous Curva Sud. Donnarumma left Milan for PSG in 2021.

'Dollarumma' – Milan fans welcome back Donnarumma with fake bank notes

AC Milan supporters taunted Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with fake bank notes on his return to the San Siro during Tuesday's UEFA Champions League game.
As the Italian shot-stopper made his way into goal, fans in the Curva Sud threw down the notes to show their displeasure after Donnarumma joined PSG as a free agent two years ago.
The 24-year-old left Milan in acrimonious circumstances in 2021 after deciding not to sign a new deal, and chose to head to the French capital instead.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi sought to diffuse the situation before the match in quotes published by Gazzetta dello Sport.
He said: "Gigi is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He's still so young and such a great professional, he's also a fantastic person.
"What he contributed to AC Milan, over 215 appearances, was amazing - and I have huge respect for both AC Milan and Gigi."

However, it appeared to have little effect on the night, as Kylian Mbappe saw the funny side with a wry smile as he watched the notes cascade down the stand.
Donnarumma has enjoyed a glittering career to date, after winning Euro 2020 with Italy and two French titles and a French Super Cup with PSG.
His sole honour for the Rossoneri came in the 2016/17 campaign, winning the Italian Super Cup.
