A flurry of fireworks explode over the top of the stadium as over-excited PSG fans let them go a bit early. It’s probably a bit early for that.

Mbappe breezes past Pavard with concerning ease and cuts the ball back from the byline. It doesn't fall to a blue shirt initially, but a deflected clearance falls to the feet of Neymar, only for Neuer to spread himself well and make a good save.

Muller flicks a header towards goal, but it’s a comfortable one for Navas to grab. The PSG keeper had a stunning game in the first leg and will be hoping for a quieter evening tonight.

Coman gets into a pocket of space down the left for Bayern and cuts it back to Choupo-Moting in space inside the box. But the former PSG (and Stoke City) striker takes far too long in getting his shot away and his stripped of possession.

PSG break after an extended spell of Bayern possession, but Neymar can’t quite squeeze a pass in behind.

It’s a balancing act for Bayern tonight. They know they need goals, but if they go searching for them then it’s almost playing straight into PSG’s hands given how strong the hosts are on the counter-attack.

That’s the risk for Bayern. PSG attack at speed with Neymar feeding Mbappe, and the Frenchman shoots narrowly wide of the far post from an angle.

Bayern have given away two fouls already inside the PSG half, which is a clear indication of their strategy tonight, which seems to be heavily based around an intense high press.

And away we go! Bayern, kitted out in all red, get the game underway. PSG are in their usual dark blue with white and red trim.
THE CHAAAMMMPPPIIIOOONNNSSS!!!
Here we go then, the players are on their way out of the tunnel in Paris and we are moments away from kick-off.
If you need a reminder of what went down in the first leg, here's a recap of a dramatic night in snowy Munich.
So, on to the important issue… the permutations! PSG’s three away goals in the 3-2 first-leg win means the tie is very much in the Paris club’s hands. Bayern need to win by two clear goals to progress, unless they score four or more, in which case any margin will send them through and we’ll get into some complicated away-goals maths. PSG will progress even if they lose 1-0 or 2-1, and a 3-2 Bayern win in the 90 minutes will of course send the game to extra time.
Bayern remain without Robert Lewandowski (or should I say, Robert Lewangoalski), but Jerome Boateng returns in place of big Niklas Sule, which should help against the pace of PSG’s front-line. Alphonso Davies starts in the second and final change from the XI that began the first leg, with Leon Goretzka missing out.
So that’s just the one change for PSG from the first leg, with Paredes coming in and Marquinos ruled out through injury.
