FULL TIME: Atletico Madrid 0-1 Chelsea
A very impressive away performance from Chelsea in the Champions League. Giroud provided the highlight with a spectacular winner, but the Blues deserve to win this match.
One minute left for Chelsea. They are very close to a win that would be a real sign of the progress they have made in a very short space of time under Tuchel. Nearly there!
Llorente gets the ball forward from the right, but Jorginho is on hand to flick it clear although Chelsea still have some defensive work to see this match out. Pegged back a bit.
PICTURE: Giroud with the winner?
There is still time for Atletico Madrid to find a goal here, but it doesn't seem to be coming. This has been a very good away performance from Chelsea. Tuchel will be pleased.
There will be six minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
And here's Vitolo as well for the Spanish side. Can he make a difference late on?

Into the side netting! Werner was in behind the Atletico Madrid defence, but the angle was tight and the Chelsea forward could only find the side netting with his shot. Picked up a deflection, though.
Of course, Dembele knows what it feels like to score against English opposition. The French striker found the back of the net in the Champions League for Lyon against City last season.
Atletico Madrid now make a change of their own and Dembele is on for Correa.

This match is being played at the National Arena in Bucharest due to travel restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic in Madrid. That has surely given Chelsea something of an advantage tonight.
A third change for Chelsea and James is on for Hudson-Odoi.

This would be a huge win for Chelsea. This was a difficult draw for them against the La Liga leaders, but the Blues have been the better side on the whole so far. They deserve to be ahead.
Just a few weeks ago, this looked like being a nightmare draw for Chelsea. But Atletico Madrid are in poor form at the moment, winning just one of their last four fixtures. In a bit of a slump.
