Son gets the strike away! The South Korean is looking very lively. He cuts inside off the left side to get the shot away from about 20 yards out, but Neuer makes the save this time.
Ndombele has started this match well. He has been the best player on the pitch over the opening 20 minutes or so. He very easily could have had two or three assists already. Impressive.
Cleared off the line! Neuer ended up in no man's land in coming out to meet Kane from a Dele pass over the top. Kane got the shot round the goalkeeper, but Alaba was back to clear off the line!
What an excellent start to this match. Most presume that it will be a straight shootout between these two teams to finish top of Group B and both sides are playing like it. Very open!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Tottenham Hotspur 1 Bayern Munich 1 (15 mins - Joshua Kimmich). Tottenham's lead didn't last long! Kimmich was allowed to bring down a half-clearance about 20 yards out, Spurs gave him far too much time and space and the German international whipped a finish into the left-hand corner of the net. What a finish!

Bayern Munich argued that Tolisso was fouled as he gave away the ball, but the VAR check is complete and they have no such case. Son's opening goal was perfectly legitimate.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Tottenham Hotspur 1 (12 mins - Heung Min-Son) Bayern Munich 0. Spurs have the opener! That had been coming! Bayern gave up the ball cheaply on the edge of their own box, Sissoko played the pass through for Son and the South Korean rifled a finish past Neuer despite the German's best efforts!

Lewandowski has played through by Alaba, he looked to be offside, but still managed to get the shot away. Lloris made the save and then the flag went up. New VAR protocol, of course.
Another chance for Son! Once again, Ndombele finds the South Korean with a threaded pass in behind Bayern Munich, but Son has a shot from a tight angle saved. Was he looking for Kane?
PICTURE: Gnabry had an early chance for Bayern Munich.
Of course, Bayern Munich in the midst of a squad rebuild. They signed Pavard, Hernandez and Coutinho during the summer with legends Ribery and Robben leaving Bavaria.
It was Bayern Munich who forged the first chance of the night, but Spurs have taken a grip of things early on here. They are the ones dictating possession through the middle.
Neuer denies Son! There's Spurs' first real opportunity. Ndombele played the pass in behind for the South Korean, but the Bayern Munich goalkeeper smothered the low shot! That perhaps should have been the opener.
Pochettino made just one change to his Spurs team from the side that struggled to a home win over Southampton at the weekend with Dele returning from injury to replace Eriksen.
Of course, Lloris dropped a clanger for Spurs in the game against Southampton at the weekend, but that early save from Gnabry will have boosted the French goalkeeper's confidence.
The pre-match scenes!
Spurs looked rather open at the back there as the pass was played through for Gnabry. Alderweireld and Vertonghen might struggle against the pace of Gnabry and Coman on the attack.
An early chance! That was a real opening for Bayern Munich! Gnabry was left one-against-one with Alderweireld, the former Arsenal man got the space for a shot, but Lloris made the save to deny him!
