Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Chelsea's Champions League Group H opener with Spanish side Valencia from Stamford Bridge. Back in the big time after a successful season in the Europa League, manager Frank Lampard takes charge of his first Champions League tie - a competition he won as a player in 2012. Valencia are in disarray after the surprise sacking of popular coach Marcelino. Albert Celades' reign got off to a rather underwhelming start after Valencia were drubbed 5-2 at Barcelona at the weekend. Perfect opponents for a Chelsea side in transition? I'm Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Jorginho launches a looping pass over the Valencia defence. Abraham looks to get on the end of it but the 'keeper is out quickly to gather it. The two sides just playing their way into the game at the moment.
