FULL-TIME
Wasteful Ajax have to settle for a point away to Bayern Munich having missed a hatful of golden opportunities to win the game.
The draw increases pressure on Bayern manager Niko Kovac who has now gone three games without a win, but it could have been so much worse for the Bundesliga champions.

OFF THE WOODWORK!
What a hit! Schone rifles a dipping free-kick from all of 30 yards and Neuer does extremely well to tip it onto the crossbar!
There will be FOUR minutes of added time!
De Ligt is caught by Gnabry's late challenge as tempers threaten to boil over in Munich. The Bayern sub is booked for the foul, but Blind isn't happy and expressed his feelings to anyone who will listen.

Kimmich, who has hardly crossed the half-way line this evening, crosses for Muller who can't keep his header down. Will that prove to be Bayern's final opportunity?
AJAX SUB: It looks like the visitors are going for it. Forward Dolberg is brought on for Neres with Tadic set to move out wide.

Will Ajax stick or twist? Will they keep faith in their attacking system and try to win the game? Or will they continue to retreat deeper and deeper and settle for the draw?
It's still too close to call as we enter the last 10 minutes in Munich. Both sides have registered 13 shots each, squandering golden opportunities along the way, but will we see a late winner?
Clearly frustrated James commits a foul and then kicks the ball away, forcing the referee to produce a yellow card.
BAYERN CHANCE!
James is denied by Ajax's goalkeeper! His first-time shot from 10 yards out is brilliantly saved by Onana who had to be at full-stretch to keep out the attacker's volley.
AJAX SUB: Minutes after missing that golden opportunity Van de Beek is replaced by Dani De Wit.

ANOTHER AJAX MISS!
Well, this could be the biggest chance of the lot. It falls to Van de Beek who latches onto Tadic's clever flick-on but he volleys wide from point-blank range! How didn't he score?!
Into the last 20 minutes now and Ajax need to be brave if they are to take anything from this game. Bayern are beginning to take control once more.
AEK have come from two goals down to level 2-2 with Benfica in the other Group E match.
Ajax are beginning to retreat deeper and deeper, a sign that the youngsters are growing tired. Has their best chance to win the game come and gone?
GOOD HIT!
One touch sets Thiago up for a shot from 25 yards. He's trying to bend the ball into the far corner from a central position but it sneaks just wide of Onana's post.
Robben was clearly frustrated to be removed from the action with almost half-an-hour still to play. But now it's up to James to make an impression.
