Pep Guardiola believes it will be a great game due to the opposition's attacking threat including Belgium’s Dries Mertens, who has 13 goals in 19 games this season.“I’m pretty sure it will be a fascinating game,” he said.
“They have three guys that are so dynamic. [Lorenzo] Insigne, Mertens and [Jose] Callejon. They are not guys to just receive long balls. They are so dynamic, good in small spaces and they run in behind and just the right tempo, especially Callejon.”

Maurizio Sarri believes Manchester City are the strongest team in Europe and he did not want to watch too many of City's games as he did not want to get "depressed".
"The feeling I get watching Man City play, I didn't even get watching Real Madrid last year. I always felt my team could give opponents a hard time, but this time I think Man City are a formidable team
"But if we want to play at a certain level, we have to do it in important matches and aim at achieving results.I watched a few matches. I didn't want to watch all of them because I didn't want to get depressed. I think Man City are by far the strongest team in Europe at the moment."
