Hazard sends it back, and at inside-left, he suddenly injects some pace, shifting the ball away from Busquets who can't keep up, and shmicing a wonderful curler that bases the far post full in the face, halfway up. Messi spanks a low pass into Iniesta and advances towards the box as his man turns and returns the ball. But the opportunity to shoot is there only briefly before it's blocked, and he opts not to take it, hoping for an improvement and forced to check away from goal.

Barca have very little width and it's showing. I wonder how long they can get out of Ousmane Dembele, and if that'll improve when Semedo is done with suspension.

Christensen is casual in snapping a pass across the face of his own box, ends up catching it badly, and the ball skids behind for a corner. But Barca are hardly a threat from those situations and are back passing soon enough.

In Munich, Besiktas have had Vida sent-off. It's going to be a long night for them.

Barca have bossed these last few minutes, probing for angles. Messi, coming deep, takes the ball off Rakitic and tries to play a ridiculous pass inside Alonso for Jordi Alba, pacing it outside him, but puts just too much on it and the ball runs behind.

When Barca win the ball Chelsea are letting them have it, sitting back in formation and looking to close off the spaces. But it doesn't take much for it not to matter, Iniesta punching a lovely pass into Messi, who turns and clips a cross for Paulinho. He should go for goal, but instead looks to nod down for Suarez when even the gentlest cushion would've taken the ball past him.

I'm often wrong, and I'm already beginning to wonder if Antonio COnte has got his team spot-on. Hazard turns up on the left and Fabregas finds him with a hard, early switch. He then stands up Paulinho and rinses past him and Rakitic before clipping back a cross that's just too firm, behind all those pegging it into the box. Iniesta then clears, not especially well, but Kante can't help but handle and Barca clear via free-kick.

Slowly, Barcelona are tightening the pressure, pinning Chelsea back inside their own half. But the old one-touch game isn't quite there at the moment.

Lovely from Messi, easing through the middle and sitting Rudiger on his buttocks before finding Paulinho. He crosses low, but there's no one close to Christensen who takes a touch and clears.

Chelsea send forward all three centre-backs and Willian swings the corner out to Christensen, who heads into the ground and wide.

Rudiger slings a fine long pass over to the right and Moses, who crosses; Busquets has no choice but to put it behind for a corner.
