FT: PSG 1-1 Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez struck late to rescue Arsenal as they secured a fortunate 1-1 draw at Paris Saint Germain in their Champions League Group A opener. Edinson Cavani gave the hosts an early lead but then wasted a series of chances to seal the triumph. The teams finished with 10-men as Verratti and Giroud saw red for second yellows while Ospina shone in goal for the Gunners to justify Wenger's decision to drop Cech. This is a great result for Arsenal in what is surely their most difficult fixture in Group A.

Arsenal very fortunate to still be in this. PSG and Cavani in particular only have themselves to blame.
