Llorenta contests a high ball with Miranda, and the referee awards a free kick to Atleti. It didn't seem to be a foul by either.
7'
Vidal buys a very cheap free kick in his own half. And elsewhere, Real Madrid have gone down 1-0 to Ludogorets.
5'
Raul Garcia tries a very ambitious glancing header from a cross on the right, but it's too far to get enough power on, and goes wide anyway.
4'
Tevez concedes a free kick high up the left wing, but it seems a harsh decision.
2'
Patrice Evra is on the left wing, which will be enjoyable for United fans who loved his attacking play and collapsed in frightened tears when he defended.

The match gets started, and Juventus are in an absurd lime kit. They should all be booked in my opinion.

With five minutes to go, you can have a prediction: Atletico 0-1 Juventus. This will definitely, definitely happen.

I love stats. Have one.

Atletico, however, have done a little less well, with a loss to Olympiacos in their first Champions League match of the season. However, their last league match saw them win 4-0 against Sevilla, so it's not all bad.
19:20
Juventus have won their last six games, with their last match being a 3-0 victory over Atalanta. Juventus have quietly built an excellent side, and Madon', what a midfield.
19:15
Juventus and Atleti's Twitter accounts are doing banter. I feel sick.

The return of the terrifying man.

Massimiliano Allegri: "Their (Atletico) ability with dead balls is something we will have to work, in particular. The important thing is the team’s attitude. Atletico display a lot of the characteristics of their manager. It is credit to Simeone that he has been able to transmit his ideas. It’s a difficult game for us but also for them. We have to be calm while knowing what we are playing for. This is the type of game that brings out a lot of emotion."

Diego Simeone: "This is a final with Juventus, as are all the games and as the next one will be. We are a competitive team and I will have many options for tomorrow. The games are all different and depending on the game I will see who will play. Juventus are a team who have always worked very well, they are a solid team that it is hard to take points from."

Mario Mandzukic, who fractured his nose in his team's defeat at Olympiacos, will lead Atletico's attack wearing a protective face mask. Alessio Cerci, who did not feature on Saturday against Sevilla for technical reasons, has been included in the squad. The Italian forward signed for Atletico in August from Juve's arch-rivals Torino and has made just two league appearances so far.
The visitors are without three injured players, including veteran midfielder Andrea Pirlo. However, Uruguay defender Martin Caceres has recovered from a thigh problem and could be included in the starting XI. Spanish striker Fernando Llorente is set to partner Carlos Tevez in Juve's attack while Atletico captain Gabi has shaken off a right ankle injury sustained at the weekend.
