Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti: "Bale can play in any position. I will play him in a position to which he is most suited and therefore is better for him. Casillas and Lopez are both very good goalkeepers, the rivalry between them makes them improve. I prefer Casillas in Champions League games because he is more experienced. Lopez will play in La Liga this season. Rivalries are not a problem for us. We are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are very familiar with situations like these."

Gala boss Fatih Terim: "Madrid are favourites to advance from this group but if we can get to double figures in terms of points, our chances of reaching the round of 16 will be a lot better. Despite losing to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals last season, we played very well in the second leg. This is not a knockout game. If we lose, nobody can say Galatasaray will fail to qualify for the next round because we'll have five games more after that. But if we win, we'll have a good advantage."

Galatasaray include a host of former Premier League stars in their line-up with Didier Drogba set to lead the line. Ex-Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue also features along with former Liverpool winger turned left back, Albert Riera. There is also a place in what looks like a strong team for former Real Madrid playmaker, Wesley Sneijder.
