GOAL! No sooner do Basel get a sniff, Roma try to snuff out their hopes and it is the two substitutes who make and score the goal. Borriello turns in the area, and Greco lashes the ball home after being on the pitch for barely two minutes. 1-3.

What a difference a goal makes. The Roma defence, so calm moments ago, look very shaky and Streller hits the post as the crowd turn up the volume.

GOAL! Well, we have a game on our hands again, and Roma will be furious about that just as it looked as if they were in total control. Stocker made some amends for giving away the penalty with a great cross, but it goes down as a horrible mistake from Sergio who totally missed it and Frei headed in from a yard. 1-2. Game on.

That's better from Basel. Abraham gets forward and unleashes a fierce drive from 25 yards which whistles just high and wide of the angle of post and bar.

Yapi tries an ambitious volley from 30 yards. Unsurprisingly, it soars well over Sergio's bar.

Menez is having a great game tonight. He has looked dangerous in the final third, and is doing his share of tracking back as well.

Yapi lays the ball back to Abraham, and his wild shot would have cleared three goals on top of each other. Desperation starting to kick in.

Basel are throwing everything at this now, but you sense Roma are going to very happy to shut up shop, and forget all about a third unless it is an absolute gimme.
