Ajax are pushing for a late win, they know this is a match that could well define who goes through the group of death.

Suarez wriggles clear in the box but Antonini and Silva snuff out the danger.

Ibra aims a delicate low cross to Inzaghi but the keeper reads it.

With his first act Inzaghi springs the offside trap but the whistle had already gone!

Milan are starting to knock it about quite nicely now as they sense snatching a late win.

Silva chasing back knocks it away from Suarez for a throw.

Suarez is played in but Silva uses his body well to get between him and the ball, leading the World Cup star to foul the Brazilian.

AGAIN Ajax overcook it. So frustrating as El Hamdaoui puts Sulejmani in on the left but, when he should shoot, he cuts it back to Suarez, who lobs it aimlessly high and wide.

Antonini is playing well now, as the only Milan defender with real pace he is sweeping up every time Ajax threaten to get in behind.

Ibra almost releases Boateng but Alderweireld is there to pass it back to Stekelenburg. This match has drifted into indifference.

Antonini hacks the ball clear after De Zeeuw's low cross almost dropped to El Hamdaoui.

Boateng with a clever flick in to Robinho but he can't bring it down and Ajax clear.
