KANE BREAKS ANOTHER RECORD AS BAYERN CONTINUE PERFECT START
The unstoppable Harry Kane made history by breaking yet another record as Bayern Munich cruised past Eintracht Frankfurt by three goals to nil to soar four points clear at the summit of the Bundesliga standings.
It took just 15 seconds for Luis Diaz to open the scoring for the visitors at Deutsche Bank Park as the former Liverpool winger tapped home from a pinpoint low Serge Gnabry cross. Kane then put Bayern in the driving seat with a powerful 20-yard drive after earlier seeing a goal disallowed for offside, before Diaz made sure of all three points with a powerful finish in the 84th minute.
Kane's strike was enough to add another line to the record books as he became the first player in Bundesliga history to score 11 goals in his first six matchdays of a season. The England international, now up to 18 goals in 10 games in all competitions, went off late on after taking a knock to the ankle. Bayern boss Vincent Kompany will be praying it's nothing serious.
Frankfurt may have made more of a game of it had Jean-Matteo Bahoya's stunner counted in the first half. The French winger found the top left-hand corner with a curling long-ranger, briefly making it 1-1 before VAR intervened and ruled the goal out for a handball in the build-up from Ritsu Doan.
In truth, there weren't many other opportunities for the usually free-scoring Frankfurt as Bayern dug in to dominate both on and off the ball. Kompany's men rarely looked fazed, proving they can defend brilliantly as well as attack clinically. Now onto 18 points out of 18 and with a +22 goal difference, Bayern return to the Allianz Arena on Saturday, October 18 to host Borussia Dortmund. Frankfurt, meanwhile head away to Freiburg on Sunday, October 19.

KANE HITS THE POST!
How is it not 3-0?! There's a scramble in the box following a Bayern corner and the ball falls to Kane at the near post, but he tries to be too intricate and his effort thunders back off the woodwork. That's a rare miss from no more than six yards.
