Malen is clearly in an offside position but that doesn't stop him from latching onto a ball through the middle. He should have left it for Haaland, who could have had an opportunity to run at the goalkeeper.

Reus tries to thread it through to Haaland but Freiburg's goalkeeper Flekken is alert and beats him to the ball.

Shot! Bellingham picks up the loose ball on the edge of the penalty area and feeds it to Haaland, who has pulled into a wide area and his tame first-time effort is straight into the gloves of Flekken.

Chance for Bellingham! Well, this is sensational from the 18-year-old. With quick feet and rapid pace, he breezes through four defenders to close in on the goalkeeper but his effort is straight at Flekken.

A neat turn by Reyna in midfield sees him run into space but he doesn't connect properly with the shot.

Freiburg are playing with lots of intensity, their high-pressing game preventing Dortmund from settling into the contest.

A perfectly placed free-kick from Grifo gives Freiburg the lead with Kobel left absolutely no chance. That was the fourth direct free-kick scored by Grifo in his Bundesliga career and his first since June last year.

GOAL! Freiburg 1-0 Dortmund (Vincenzo Grifo): A poor first touch from Passlack sees him concede a free-kick in a desperate bid to retrieve the ball. And oh my word, what a strike by Grifo, who smashes the free-kick into the top corner from all of 30 yards. That's an absolute rocket!

Gunter fails to clear, Passlack brings the ball down and plays it to Haaland whose shot is deflected high into the air and Flekken can gather.

Reus slides the ball through to Bellingham and he forces the corner. Reyna's delivery is punched clear by Flekken.

Reus, who has scored in each of his last four league games, wins Dortmund their first free-kick of the game, which they play back to the defence.

FIVE minutes until kick-off! It's Freiburg versus Dortmund in the Bundesliga. It's LIVE and it's NEXT!

Freiburg lost only four home games last season - and even defeated Dortmund 2-1 the last time the teams met. They're set to play only three more games at the Dreisamstadion, including this, before moving to their new SC-Stadion, so will be hoping to go out on a high.

Forget about that defeat to Bayern in midweek and Dortmund are in formidable form. They have won their last eight games in the Bundesliga, which equals their club record from 2011/12 under Jurgen Klopp. And what's more, Erling Haaland has had a hand in seven goals from three competitive matches already this season.
