Full-time: It was far from vintage Bayern Munich but Julian Nagelsmann claims his 100th Bundesliga win as coach to take his side six points clear atop of the table.
Stoger prevents Bayern taking their free-kick and is cautioned by the referee.

There will be FOUR minutes of added-time to play!

Bayern are comfortably seeing the game out. They have three minutes plus whatever added-time there is to play.

A sign of life from Mainz! Boetius drives them forward on the counter and it's worked into the path of Ingvartsen, who is forced wide. He scuffs his shot and that is a horrible effort.
Mainz were absolutely superb in the first half and perhaps they exerted too much energy into their performance because it looks like they've ran out of energy.
Mainz's goalscorer Onisiwo is off, Paul Nebel is on.

GOAL! Bayern Munich 2-1 Mainz (Jamal Musiala): That felt inevitable! Musiala gives Bayern the lead for the first time this afternoon with a really well taken goal. His first touch takes his marker out of the game before he rifles a shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
There's still a long way to go but as it stands Bayern would move five points clear at the top of the table as Dortmund are still trailing 1-0 at VfL Bochum.
Pavard lifts a cross into the box but it escapes the control of Lewandowski and runs into the arms of the visiting goalkeeper.
It will be interesting to see how those five changes in personnel will affect the match. For now Bayern remain in total control, bossing possession and it feels like only a matter of time before they create another opportunity.
And Bayern's triple substitution is completed by Serge Gnabry coming on for Sane, who looks slightly unhappy to see his number come up.
