What an extraordinary win that is for Borussia Monchengladbach. At 2-0 down in the first half they looked to be en-route to a battering, but the response was outstanding and they’ve now won six of their last 12 meetings with Bayern, far and away the best head-to-head record against the champions. What a game and what a result! It finishes Borussia Monchengladbach 3, Bayern Munich 2.
IT’S ALL OVER!
The red shirts flood forward but will they get another chance?
Off the line! Ginter gets back onto the line as a corner results in some pinball inside the box and he clears to keep Gladbach ahead.
A Muller shot takes a double deflection and the keeper can only watch as the ball drifts wide of the goal. Nervous times!
There will be four minutes of added time for Bayern to rescue something from this.
Still Bayern keep coming...

Embolo is doing his best to hold the ball up but Gladbach just can’t keep hold of possession. It keeps on coming back at them time and again and this is a real backs-to-the-wall operation now. Can they cling on for a famous win?
It’s all Bayern but the are faced with banks of white shirts and just can’t find the equaliser.
Gladbach are camped in their own half now as the pressure continues to build. Chances will surely come late on, can Bayern take them?
Embolo is fouled by Sule but the referee plays advantage and the Gladbach forward almost immediately loses possession. That should really be pulled back for the foul, but Bayern are allowed to play on and Lewandowski gets dangerous close to turning into space inside the box. If that had gone in the Gladbach bench would have been absolutely furious.
Zakaria has put a shift in today but that's his game done.

Gladbach haven’t seen much of the ball this evening but their possession stats are dwindling even further now as Bayern press hard for an equaliser. It’s increasingly one-way traffic after that strong start to the second half by the hosts.
Sane clips a shot towards the back post, but Muller can’t get a clean header away and it’s a comfortable save.
There are 20 minutes remaining... more than enough time for Bayern to rescue this and it would be a brave person who bets against them, despite how shaky they look at the back.
Douglas Costa's game is over and on comes Coman.

A rocket of a shot catches Ginter on the head and the referee immediately waves for medical intervention. The defender looks a little shaky and may have even lost consciousness, such was the impact, but after a cold sponge and a bit of attention from the medics he is cleared to continue. There’s a concussion conversation to be had here, but we’ll save that for another day.
Embolo nips in-front of Sule and forced the big centre-back into giving away a corner. He’s an impressive figure of a man the Bayern defender and is clearly capable, but it’s hard to escape the feeling that he would be more at home in a Burnley back-line than in the mobile set-up that the German Champions prefer.
