Bayer Leverkusen close the gap on RB Leipzig in fourth place to just one single point with an emphatic victory over Werder Bremen. For the hosts, this is starting to look like a hopeless situation. They need a miracle to prevent themselves from dropping down a division. Havertz was the main man this evening.
FULL TIME: Werder Bremen 1-4 Bayer Leverkusen
There will be just two minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
Good save! Pavlenka had to react quickly to push the ball over the bar after the shot came in. That was heading towards the top corner and a fifth goal for Bayer Leverkusen. Good stop.
Werder Bremen will need some picking up after this. Bayer Leverkusen are up against Gladbach this weekend. That would be an excellent match. Make sure you catch that one.
Another change for the away side and it's Havertz who comes off. He won't be getting his hat trick this evening.

PICTURE: It's all been rather easy for Leverkusen this evening.
As noted earlier in the evening, a win here will take Bayer Leverkusen to within just one point of RB Leipzig in fourth place in the Bundesliga table. The race for the Champions League is on.
Diaby was very impressive for Bayer Leverkusen this evening. He contributed two assists with two exceptional crosses into the middle. He's another young talent on their books.
The hope for Werder Bremen was that the hiatus would allow them to press the reset button, that they would return to action revitalised, but there has been no sign of that tonight.
One wonders if Bosz might consider taking off Havertz. The fixtures wil come thick and fast between now and the end of June and Bayer Leverkusen will need their best players fit.
Werder Bremen have been competitive at points tonight, but on the whole they have been completely outclassed by Bayer Leverkusen. The away side have been in complete control.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Werder Bremen 1 Bayer Leverkusen 4 (78 mins - Kerem Demirbay). What. A. Goal! That might be the pick of the bunch from tonight's goals. The no-look pass was played through for Demirbay and the midfielder took his time to chip a finish over Pavlenka in the Werder Bremen goal. Wonderful.

Friedl is shown a yellow card for a trip on a Bayer Leverkusen player. Easy call for the referee to make.

Great skill from Havertz! The Bayer Leverkusen youngster is desperate to get his hat trick, dribbling through the Bremen defence to get the shot away from 20 yards out, but the block was made. Corner kick.
Yikes! Vogt has been really, really poor for the home side this evening.
Here's a third Leverkusen change for good measure, with Baumgartlinger coming on for the away side.
