Bayern’s Thomas Muller dropped for top-of-table clash against RB Leipzig
Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller has been dropped for the top-of-the table clash with RB Leipzig.
Arjen Robben and Douglas Costa have been selected by manager Carlo Ancelotti to play behind striker Robert Lewandowski.
Muller went through a lengthy goal drought before finally scoring his first league goal in December as Bayern beat Wolfsburg 5-0, and has now paid the price.
Bayern are looking for victory that would mean them topping the table over Christmas, with the winter break coming after this match and their next fixture on January 20 against Freiburg.
