Subotic dreams of Prem

Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic has made it clear that he wants to move to the Premier League at some stage in his career.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past and rumours of a switch will be fuelled by the news that he would be very interested in competing in the Premier League.

The Serbia international is under contract with the German champions until 2014, so they are under no pressure to sell him, but should a big money offer come in then a transfer could be afoot.

Subotic told Sky Deutschland: "I am under contract at Borussia Dortmund and I am happy to be here.

"Anyway, a dream of mine is still to play in the Premiership. One day in the future, I want to try myself out in that competition."

The 6ft 4" centre-back was in the team that drew with Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday night and he is already well aware what a tough competition it is.

He continued: "This is a very strong competition and we will be giving our very best.

"But we have to know that every little error will be punished."
