Germany international striker Mike Hanke is on the verge of making a switch from Wolfsburg to Hannover.

Die Roten will reportedly pay €4 million for the World Cup squad member, who has a contract with Wolfsburg until mid-2009.
The 23-year-old, who netted eight goals this season, confirmed: "Yes, I'm going to Hanover and will sign a four-year contract."
Wolfsburg narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight this season, while Hannover fared little better, finishing just five points ahead in the final Bundesliga standings.
