Sadio Mane’s reputation has certainly been enhanced during this tournament. These two have met 12 times before and it’s Senegal who have the better record - just - winning five of the games and losing four if you include the 2002 final. They last met in 2011, playing out a goalless draw.

"Our team has not stopped progressing since the qualifiers and it is true that against Cameroon we face a difficult opponent,” he said. "It could be on the mental side that the game is won. I feel that the boys are confident.”
18:15
Senegal, by the way, have never won the tournament and 2002 was the only time they have ever reached the final.
18:10
Cameroon have won the cup four times, most recently in 2002 when they beat today’s opponents 3-2 on penalties in the final. The man who missed the decisive penalty? None other than current Senegal manager Aliou Cisse.
