GOOD OMEN?
This is the second meeting between the sides at this year's tournament, with Nigeria prevailing 1-0 in Group A.
It is worth noting the Super Eagles have faced the Elephants in all three previous Africa Cup of Nations editions in which they have gone on to lift the trophy.

SAVE
The hosts keep the pressure up and are awarded another corner when Aina turns a dangerous cross behind.
Space opens for Seko Fofana to try his luck from distance. His ambitious attempt is on target, but straight into the grateful arms of Nwabali.

JUST WIDE
The hosts continue to apply the pressure and force a corner.
After the initial delivery is dealt with, Adingra whips in a cross from the left flank.
The sliding Haller gets a touch on the ball, but does not connect strongly enough to steer it inside the far post.

THE ROAD TO THE FINAL
Will it be title number four for Nigeria, or will Ivory Coast join them on three triumphs?
The Super Eagles are appearing in their eighth final having conceded just a single goal from open play.
After finishing second in Group A, Jose Peseiro's side saw off Cameroon and Angola before denying South Africa on penalties in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, the hosts endured a tumultuous start to the tournament that saw head coach Jean-Louis Gasset with their hopes of reaching the knockout stages still in the balance.
Although, they have not looked back under interim boss Emerse Fae, who took them through Group A in third place before overseeing a penalty shootout win over reigning champions Senegal. Mali were then beaten 2-1 after extra-time, before the Elephants edged out Congo 1-0 in the semi-finals.
