Lovely through ball from Bolasie and bakambu has the run on Alaa, who hauls him down just outside the box in as clear a red-card offence as you'll see, except the ref fails even to award a yellow. Bolasie fancies the free-kick...

Credit to DRC, who are still at it, forcing a corner down the left; the ball is pumped towards the back stick, where Bakambu can't quite reach it.

Issama dashes down the left and slings over a glorious cross, Bolingi up early and ahead of Alaa to smash a header at goal; El Shenawy saves really well, then the ref penalises Bolingi for no discernible reason.

Good ball from Maghoma, hard into Bakambu, but he can't get it out of his feet and his shot is easily saved by El Shenawy.

This game has died a death. Both teams know it's over.

Issama is extremely late on Trezeguet, but avoids a booking.

This has been a strange second-half performance from Egypt, who have done very little. But the thing with them is that they don't have a midfield able to control games, so have to defend properly - which they sometimes do - and wait for their attackers to settle things - which they often do.

Elneny scythes in on Bakambu, scissoring his legs; he does exceedingly well to escape with a yellow card.
