The Esports World Cup 2025 delivered another thrilling day of action on Saturday, as multiple tournaments reached their climax. Fans witnessed intense competition across Rocket League, Tekken 8, and PUBG: Battlegrounds. Here's a recap of the key results and highlights.

Rocket League – Quarter Finals Set the Stage

Rocket League concluded group play and kicked off the playoffs.
In the Lower Bracket Deciders, NRG swept FUT Esports 3–0, Team Secret overpowered Gen.G 3–0, Geekay Esports defeated The Ultimates 3–1, and Spacestation Gaming beat Twisted Minds 3–1, securing the final four playoff spots.
The single-elimination quarter finals produced strong victories from the favourites. Team Vitality defeated NRG 4–2, showcasing sharp passing plays and dominant aerial control.
Karmine Corp beat Team Secret 4–1, with standout performances from their captain, scoring multiple decisive goals.
Geekay Esports overcame Dignitas 4–1, while Team Falcons handled Spacestation 4–1, continuing their remarkable consistency throughout the tournament.
These four teams now advance to Sunday's semi-finals, with Karmine Corp facing Team Falcons and Geekay Esports taking on Team Vitality. 

Tekken 8 – Ulsan Claims Championship

The Tekken 8 club championship wrapped up its final stage.
Quarter-finals saw CBM narrowly edge Mulgold 5–4, Lim "Ulsan" Soo-hoon rout Pinya 5–1, JeonDDing defeat Qudans 5–3, and LowHigh beat Chikurin 5–1.
In the semi-finals, Ulsan overcame CBM 5–3, while LowHigh defeated JeonDDing 5–2 to set up the grand final.
Demonstrating impeccable timing, defensive reads, and punishing combos, Ulsan ultimately triumphed, securing the Tekken 8 club championship and further solidifying his status as one of the top players in the scene. 

PUBG: Battlegrounds – Twisted Minds Triumphant

The two-day PUBG finals produced a dramatic finish.
Twisted Minds survived a nail-biting finale against Gen.G, with just one player remaining, earning enough placement points to claim the championship and the $600,000 top prize.
Their calculated rotations and clutch late-game strategy proved decisive.
Defending champions Team Falcons finished third, while ROC Esports' Gabriel "sxntastico" Silva earned MVP honours for his incredible 18 kills and 25 knockouts.
This victory also awarded Twisted Minds 1,000 club points toward the EWC standings, moving them into strong contention for the overall tournament title.
