After more than 1,000 matches across 24 titles, the 2025 Esports World Cup reached its grand finale with Counter Strike 2 crowning the tournament's final champions. The MongolZ capped off an incredible underdog run while Team Falcons secured their Club Championship victory, bringing an end to one of esports' most comprehensive competitions.

The tactical shooter provided a fitting end to the Esports World Cup with its championship weekend delivering both drama and decisive victories.
The MongolZ delivered a masterful performance, sweeping Aurora 3-0 to claim the championship and become the 21st unique team to win an EWC 2025 title.

Individual Recognition
The SONY MVP Award went to Sodbayar "Techno4K" Munkhbold from The MongolZ, recognising his outstanding performance throughout the Counter Strike 2 tournament. As a standout performer across the competition, Techno4K secured both personal recognition and an additional $10,000 in prize money alongside his team’s championship victory.
Club Championship Final Standings
Team Falcons won $7,000,000 and the Club Championship trophy. The Saudi Arabian organisation entered the most events in Riyadh, earning two bronzes, two silvers, and one gold.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman presented the championship trophy to Team Falcons’ CEO Musaad AlDossar, with football icon Cristiano Ronaldo delivering the award during last night’s closing ceremony in Riyadh.
The event shattered esports viewership records with 750 million viewers globally, peaking at 7.98 million during League of Legends competition. Over 3 million visitors attended Boulevard City, while 300,000 international tourists boosted Riyadh’s profile as a premier esports destination.
