Sophie Devine ensured that the hosts New Zealand ended a tough ODI series against England on a high with a seven-wicket victory. Devine's unbeaten century haul summed up a fine day's work against the tourists, who struggled on a tough playing surface. Heather Knight had already skippered the side to a 2-0 series lead, meaning the White Ferns were playing for pride in this third and final ODI.

Higlights: New Zealand salvage pride with Devine-inspired ODI win over England

Sophie Devine's unbeaten century ensured New Zealand claimed a consolation seven-wicket victory over England in the third and final one-day international in Hamilton.
The tourists had already raced into a 2-0 series lead, but struggled here after being bowled out for 194 in the space of 46.3 overs.
It looked like an England whitewash series may have been on the cards when the White Ferns started on 14-2 in their innings, but Devine's 100 not out and Amelia Kerr's 76 got the job done after a mere 39 overs.
England’s bowling struggles were epitomised by Sophie Ecclestone’s fairly modest 2-25, while Lauren Filer and Charlie Dean failed to take any wickets at the expense of 47 and 63 New Zealand runs.
Speaking after the match, New Zealand captain Sophie Devine said in quotes published by BBC Sport: "Nat Sciver-Brunt was egging me on saying I had one ball so have a crack, so it was nice to look her in the eye afterwards.
"It was a really clinical job by the group. It was set up by the bowlers - it was a fantastic effort to restrict them to under 200, and then to win with that many overs to spare and wickets in hand just shows that what we're doing is on the right path."
Meanwhile, England captain Heather Knight admitted that the team had suffered from a lack of experience at ODI level, despite the series victory.
She said: "We've probably not been at our best in this ODI series if we're being honest. We've struggled a little bit with tempo, particularly as a batting group, having not played a huge amount of ODIs.
"It is a really good thing for us to work on as a group, particularly in the middle overs and when you're on a tricky pitch.
"There is some reflection to do but overall, I am really pleased with how the tour has gone. We've made some really good learnings, and got some really clear learnings that we need to work on as a group."
