Jofra Archer has been included in Jos Buttler's squad for this summer's T20 World Cup, as England look to defend the trophy they won in Australia two years ago. Archer has not featured for England in the last 13 months, since taking part in last year's tour of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Chris Woakes was the stand-out exclusion from the squad. England's first match is against Scotland on June 4.

Jofra Archer is the headline inclusion for England's provisional 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA this summer.
Archer has suffered an injury-plagued couple of years and has not featured for England since March 2023 due to an elbow problem.
The team, captained by Jos Buttler, will prepare for the T20 World Cup with a four-match series against Pakistan.
Sussex fast bowler Archer will take part in that series which begins in Leeds on May 22 – three days before the final submission for squads on May 25.
Tom Hartley and Chris Jordan have also been included in England's provisional squad, but 2022 World Cup winner Chris Woakes misses out.
Hartley is the only uncapped player to be named in the squad, while Surrey batter Will Jacks is yet to feature in an international tournament.
Meanwhile, Butler is among nine players from the T20 squad looking to retain the trophy from two years ago, with Moeen Ali, Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt and Mark Wood all included in the provisional squad.

Those players taking part in the Indian Premier League will join up with England ahead of the series against Pakistan, despite the final being scheduled for May 26.
The squad will head out to the Caribbean on May 31 before their first group game against Scotland in Barbados on June 4.
