"A big name would be interesting but I would need to see the offer first. It has to be a real offer,"' he told Sydney's Daily Telegraph .
"They know I'm available - that's why I have not announced my retirement."
Tszyu talked about having a fight in Russia towards the end of the year, possibly an exhibition bout, which his team would now investigate.
The 37-year-old made it clear that he had not committed to fighting or staying retired at this time, but was keeping his options open.
"I'm training every day and I'm feeling great," he said.
The four time world champion has never fought in his native Russia as a professional and may regard that as a sort of unfinished business which he would set right by fighting once more at the end of the year.
While Moscow was an option for the fight, Tszyu 31-2 (25) said there were other cities in Russia, which could host what would be a major event.
Having previously said that if he fought again it would only be at welterweight, the biggest names out there for a clash with Tszyu at the end of 2007 could be Shane Mosley or the winner of proposed Miguel Cotto-Antonio Margarito clash in June.
