'There will be no love lost' - Warren excited for Queensberry v Matchroom showdown

A landmark night of boxing between Queensberry Promotions and Matchroom Sport is set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Frank Warren, boss of Queensberry had told TNT Sport that talks are ongoing with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom over a stacked card that will feature the finest fighters from both companies.
Now it has been confirmed that five fighters from each stable will go head-to-head in five different weight classes following an announcement from H.E. Advisor Turki Alalshikh.
“This type of agreement is what boxing fans have been waiting for," H.E. Turki Alalshikh said. "As the best champions worldwide are going to be a part of the five-versus fight night.
He added: “These unique partnerships promise boxing fans from around the glove more unforgettable sports events”.
Full details, including date and card, are set to be announced during the Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou fight week in March.
Warren was speaking exclusive to TNT Sports ahead of the Magnificent Seven event on March 16, and explained that the winners from his Queensberry stable could be selected to take part.
Speaking at a press conference for the Magnificent Seven, he said: We're working on it and it's a funny thing this show that's taking place - the Magnificent Seven - because the winners out of that could be on the team.
“So we’ll pick out the respective fighters from the respective divisions, and I'm sure Matchroom will be doing the same.
“It's going to be very competitive; as much as we're working together on things, there will be no love lost on the night.
“No-one will want to lose or let the team down, so I think it will be a very interesting night and I'm really looking forward to it.”
For now, the focus is very much on the Magnificent Seven, which sees Nathan Heaney, Joe Joyce, Liam Davies and Solomon Dacres all on the same card.
Joyce will be targeting redemption in his heavyweight clash against Kash Ali following two defeats against Zhilei Zhang in 2023.
