Keely Hodgkinson got her challenge for the 800m underway, winning her heat, as did her training partner Georgia Hunter-Bell, in qualifying for the semi-final.
There will be two Brits in the Women's 200m final as Dina Asher-Smith and Amy Hunt both finished second in their semi-finals and both have chances of a medal with a fairly even looking field after Jamaica's Shericka Jackson and American Melissa Jefferson-Wood, who will likely compete for Gold tomorrow.

Halifax's Max Burgin qualified for the Men's 800m final, easing through in the second semi-final behind a remarkable run from Irishman Cian McPhillips.
In the field, 2012 London Olympics Gold medallist Keshorn Walcott wound the clock back to win the Men's Javelin, while Leyanis Perez Hernandez just edged reigning Olympic champion Thea Lamond in the Triple Jump.

MCLAUGHLIN-LEVRONE BEATS PAULINO TO TAKE CROWN
A closer race than anticipated with the American finishing in the time of 47.80, within 0.2 seconds of Marita Koch's controversial 40-year-old record. Marileady Paulino also ran under 48 seconds, with Salwa Eid Naser in third.
Anning finished in fifth in 49.36.
14:23
MCLAUGHLIN-LEVRONE HUNTS FOURTH GOLD, ANNING A MEDAL
Amber Anning has the favourite inside of her in the 400m final. The American is in lane five, the Brit in six.
14:22
LAFOND JUST FAILS TO CATCH PEREZ HERNANDEZ IN TRIPLE JUMP
The Olympic champion Thea Lamond of the Dominican Republic jumps within 5cm of the Cuban, but Leyanis Perez Hernandez stands in front, equalling her best jump of 14.94m with her sixth effort, with Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela in third.
14:15
KEBINATSHIPI BLITZES FIELD IN 400M FINAL
Busang Collen Kebinatshipi runs a personal best and the tenth-best time in history as he dominated the field. A fine finish from Jereem Richards saw him take second with a national record of 43.72 with Botswana sealing bronze as well with Bayapo Ndori finishing third.
14:10
MEN'S 400M FINAL NEXT...
We expected Matthew Hudson-Smith to be in this race but it wasn't to be. Botswana's Busang Collen Kebinatshipi looks the man to beat.
14:08
OLYMPIC CHAMPION SAFELY THROUGH
Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi qualifies from Heat 3, behind Mohamed Attaoui of Spain, with the third and fourth athletes Navasky Anderson and Tshepiso Masalela qualifying as the fastest losers.
13:58
MCPHILLIPS EDGES BURGIN, BOTH QUALIFY
Burgin took control at the bell and held his form down the final straight, before McPhillips (knocking a second off his personal best and breaking an Irish record) passed him in the last 50m. Both qualify with fancied American Donavan Brazier and Francisco Pernici, quite likely to get in with their times of 1:43.82 and 1:43.84.
13:49
PATTISON FIFTH IN SEMI
Not a great race from the Brit, leaving himself too much to do from the back of the pack and ended up in fifth. Marco Arop of Canada finished just in front of Algerian Djamel Sedjati, with Ireland's Mark English third after brave run - but unlikely to qualify from a slow heat.
13:43
PATTISON AND BURGIN IN 800M SEMI-FINALS NEXT
Pattison will go in the first heat and Burgin the second.
13:41
BATTLE WINS, NEITA FOURTH
Fine runs from American Anavia Battle and Marie-Jose Ta Lou-Smith seal the automatic places in 22.09 and 22.17. Neita ran a pretty good bend but faded down the straight and will not be in the final .
13:38
CAN NEITA MAKE IT THREE FROM THREE?
She will have to do it from lane nine in the final heat.
13:37
PEREZ HERNANDEZ WITH LEAD IN TRIPLE JUMP
The Cuban is 14cm ahead of Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela and Thea Lafond, who both jumped 14.70.
13:35
ASHER-SMITH SECOND IN HEAT
Jefferson-Wood was clearly in front of Asher-Smith but the Brit was even further ahead of the rest of the field. Jefferson-Wood put distance between herself and the rest of the field when they reached the final straight before easing up. The winner ran a 22 flat, 0.21 ahead of Asher-Smith, who herself was well clear of Jamaican Ashanti Moore in third.
13:29
ASHER-SMITH RUNS IN HEAT 2
She and the rest of the runners will likely be chasing the irrepressible Melissa Jefferson-Wooden.
13:27
HUNT SECOND IN 200M SEMIS
Shericka Jackson was a long way in front at the bend, but Britain's Amy Hunt improved down the straight and beat Brittany Brown into second place. Jackson ran a 21.99, Hunt a 22.08 and Brown will have to wait after his 22.13.
13:19
LYLES WINS BY A STREET, HUGHES SECOND
A fantastic run of 19.51 from Lyles, but a good performance from Hughes in second at 19.95 sees him through to the final.
South Africa's Sinesipho Dambile and Tapiwanashe Makarawu finish in third and fourth with 19.97 and 19.98 respectively.
13:16
HUGHES DRAWN IN LANE SIX, WITH LYLES OUTSIDE
He will have someone to measure himself against at least.
13:12
LEVELL LOOKS SO GOOD IN VICTORY
Dominating off the bend, Jamaican Bryan Levell came into the straight with a big lead and looked so composed before easing down in the closing stages, still recording a 19.78. Letsile Tobogo of Botswana was second with 19.95.
Courtney Lindsay and young Australian phenom Gout Gout were next but well behind and will not qualify for the next round.
13:06
BEDNAREK DOMINATES HEAT 1
The American started brilliantly, making up ground on his nearest rival Alexander Ogando in the lane outside him immediately, and cruised down the final straight finishing in 19.88, well clear of the Dominican who ran 19.98.
Zimbabwean Makanakaishe Charamba will hope to be one of the fastest two non-qualifiers, after finishing third in 20.03.
