Emma Raducanu came out second best in her clash with world No. 3 Coco Gauff at the Italian Open on Monday, losing 6-1 6-2 to her American opponent, but the British player was not too disheartened by the result and will look to build on it as she prepares for the second major of the season at Roland-Garros, which is live on TNT Sports and discovery+

Emma Raducanu has said she will look to keep playing instead of going to "hide in a hole somewhere" following her loss to Coco Gauff at the Italian Open.
The British No. 2 was well beaten by Gauff at the WTA 1000 event in Rome on Monday, which came a shade under a fortnight before the second major of the season at the French Open, which gets underway on May 25 - live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
As world No. 49, Raducanu will be in the main draw at Roland-Garros and has the option of heading straight to Paris.
There are two WTA tournaments in the week before the French Open - in Strasbourg and Rabat - and Raducanu suggested both could come into the equation.
Asked by Sky Sports if she needed more games before Paris, Raducanu said: "I would love to just keep improving and keep playing; I think that is a positive for me.
"I don’t want to go and hide in a hole somewhere, I want to get back out there.
"We will see where it goes in the next week before the French."

Gauff is ranked No. 3 in the world, and Raducanu said she understood why after being "outplayed" in a 6-1 6-2 defeat.
"It was very bouncy, there was not much clay on the court, and it was quite windy too," Raducanu said.
"Coco also played a really good match and I definitely saw why she is two [three, but will move above Iga Swiatek at the end of the tournament] in the world right now.
"She played really well and I do think I got outplayed today, and I have no shame in saying that.
"I am just looking forward to trying to work to get better."
Despite being dominated in all aspects on the Roman clay, Raducanu played with a smile on her face and the 22-year-old said that is the mindset she wants to take into life on and off the court.
"It makes it more enjoyable, it makes it more sustainable," Raducanu said of her positive outlook. "It does not make the losses feel as bad, because I just know every day I am trying to be the best version of myself and win the day, and I’ve gone back to that.
"I did not win on the match court today, but I am going to find a way to win the day."
