Carlos Alcaraz admitted he was living his "dream" upon beating Taylor Fritz 6-4 5-7 6-3 7-6 (6) to make it to a third successive Wimbledon final.Â
The World No. 2 will either take on French Open final opponent Jannik Sinner in the final or 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.Â
Following the match in the searing London heat, Alcaraz spoke about what it meant to him to reach a third Wimbledon final on the spin.
"It was a really difficult match as always when I have to play against Taylor," he said. "Even tougher with the conditions, it was really hot today.
"I'm just really happy with everything that I've done today. I dealt with the nerves - playing here in a semi-final is not easy.
"I'm really proud with the way I stayed calm and thought clearly. I'm pleased about my level today."
Alcaraz, who has won 24 matches in a row - and 20 at Wimbledon - added: "I'm not thinking about the winning streak or the results at all.
"This is my dream - stepping on these beautiful courts and playing tennis in the most beautiful tournaments in the world.
"That's all I try to think [about] at every tournament and why I try to bring the joy to the courts.
"Right now, I don't want to think about Sunday. I just want to enjoy this moment and that I've got to a third final in a row.
"I will have time to think about Sunday, I'm going to watch the other semi-final as well and let's see."
Defending champion Alcaraz enjoyed a perfect start, breaking his opponent in the very first game, before consolidating by holding to love.Â

There were ominous signs for Fritz, as Alcaraz closed out a near-perfect set in 35 minutes with a pair of aces and a service winner. Indeed, the two-time Wimbledon winner did not drop a point behind his first serve throughout the entirety of the set.
But the second set saw Fritz settle into the match, as he followed a series of straightforward holds by claiming a break-point while leading 4-3.Â
Alcaraz ultimately overcame the scare to hold, but it was a moment of encouragement for the American.
Indeed, Fritz later capitalised on his improvement and Alcaraz’s sudden drop in intensity to break his opponent and take the second set 7-5.
But Alcaraz, who possesses the goldfish memory of many great athletes, came into the third set with intensity, consolidating a break with an authoritative service hold to take a 3-1 lead.

He then broke Fritz again, to go two-sets-to-one ahead and plant one foot firmly in the final.Â
Fritz matched Alcaraz toe-to-toe in the fourth set, as both players raced through a spate of service holds to make it to a tie-break.
But with the pressure on, the second seed stepped up to win the tie-break and take the match.
