The stage is set for both the men’s and women’s singles finals at Wimbledon. First up, Jasmine Paolini will take on Barbora Krejcikova in the women’s final on Saturday at the All England Club, with a first-time Wimbledon champion to be crowned on Centre Court. That paves the way for Sunday’s clash of titans as Carlos Alcaraz faces Novak Djokovic in a rematch of last year’s men’s final.

Wimbledon 2024 is heading towards its dramatic climax, with the finals of the men's and women's singles set to dominate the concluding weekend at the famous venue.
The eyes of the sport will be on the women on Saturday as Jasmine Paolini bids for her first Grand Slam title against 2021 French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova.
It is a final few would have predicted but one that is sure to provide plenty of drama.
Then, on Sunday, two names familiar with most sports fans will take to Centre Court. In a repeat of last year's men's singles final, defending champion Carlos Alcaraz will square off against Novak Djokovic in a match that is not to be missed.
Paolini v Krejcikova
Paolini's remarkable 2024 season continues. Having never got through the second round of a Grand Slam prior to this year, she reached the fourth round of the Australian Open and then made the final at Roland-Garros.
She lost out to Iga Swiatek in Paris but, little over a month later, has another chance to achieve Grand Slam glory when she takes on Krejcikova.
Krejcikova, who won the 2021 French Open, has only reached three quarter-finals since, but has produced some of her best tennis over the last two weeks.
She beat an in-form Jelena Ostapenko in the last eight before coming from a set down to topple fourth-seed Elena Rybakina in the semis.
Krejcikova won the only time the pair have met previously during qualifying for the 2018 Australian Open but this will be their first tour-level encounter, which only adds to the intrigue.
Alcaraz v Djokovic
A blockbuster clash awaits in the men's singles final on Sunday, as Alcaraz and Djokovic renew their rivalry on the sport's grandest stage.
It was the scene of their epic five-set clash 12 months ago and Djokovic will have revenge on his mind after coming out on the losing side.
The Serbian has shaken off his knee injury superbly well and has made fairly serene progress through the draw, a run which included a walkover in the quarter-finals and a straight-sets win over Lorenzo Musetti in the semis.
Alcaraz has had a tougher time and had to dig deep to beat Frances Tiafoe in five sets in the third round. He followed that up with four-set wins over Ugo Humbert, Tommy Paul and Daniil Medvedev to move into his second successive Wimbledon final.
There are always fireworks when these two forces meet, so do not expect anything different come Sunday afternoon.
Brit Watch
While the British interest in the men's and women's singles ended early, Henry Patten will be flying the flag on Saturday.
Patten will partner Harri Heliovaara in the final of the men's doubles against Australian duo Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson on Centre Court.
Elsewhere, Britain's Andy Lapthorne will go for glory alongside Guy Sasson in the quad wheelchair doubles final and Ben Bartram will be in action in the semi-finals of the men's wheelchair doubles.
